Chapter One

I thought is was interesting how they where talking about how they met and what their lives were before they did. At times in did bug me, because it was telling two stories at once. My question was why did it seem like the husband didn't really care about his wife? I also wondered, because it didn't seem that the husband wanted to get married then why did he, was he forced into the marriage at all. Why if he didn't like to travel move from India to Boston USA?
