If you love somebody or something, let it, him, her go?

Well if you love something or someone I don't know why you would let it, him, her go. Unless they, it were truly unhappy. I would be unhappy so I would let, them, it go. Because if I love something or someone that means I would respect their, it's happiness and I could not get in the way of it. I love my pet, but I don't think I would let her go, even if I love her, because she wouldn't survive on her own, I guess it depends on the situation and what the person or things is.
