What makes a (romantic) relationship work?

Well I guess it's who you are. But for me a relationship has to work using; trust, respect, and honesty. Without those things the relationship I'm in would fail. Over my past relationships none of these things really worked together and so the relationship didn't work out. Sure one or two might have been in the relationship, but you need all three to make it work.
