Why we tell stories

I think we tell stories to share part of our lives with others. Like how a boy proposes or how our day went, or our 16th birthday.  We want people to know us and to know us we have to tell our story. Like the movie prom it tells different people's stories and how they get ready for prom what they are going to do after high school how life is.
